2. Website access and hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, IONOS processes technically necessary connection data, including the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and an anonymised IP address. Processing serves the secure, stable and technically reliable delivery of this website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

According to IONOS, this visitor data is anonymised when collected, retained for eight weeks and not transferred to third countries. Where required, a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. Further information: IONOS web hosting privacy information ↗.

3. IONOS WebAnalytics

IONOS WebAnalytics is enabled by default as part of the web hosting service. According to IONOS, data is collected through a log file or tracking pixel and WebAnalytics does not use cookies. The IP address transmitted when a page is requested is anonymised immediately after transmission and subsequently processed without identifying the visitor. IONOS states that it does not store personal visitor data that would allow conclusions to be drawn about individual visitors.

Processed data includes the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and the IP address in anonymised form. Processing is used exclusively for statistical analysis and technical optimisation of the website. 4. Encrypted connection

The website is intended to be delivered exclusively through an encrypted HTTPS connection. Active TLS encryption protects data transmitted between your browser and the web server from being read by third parties. An encrypted connection is indicated by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

5. Contact

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your contact details, the content of your message and the information required to respond. For contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to respond properly to enquiries and conduct business communication.

Providing your information is voluntary. However, we cannot respond without a means of contacting you and the information required to understand your enquiry.

Enquiry data is deleted once the matter has been concluded unless statutory retention duties or legitimate interests require continued retention. If a contract is concluded, data may be retained for longer periods under commercial and tax law.

6. Adobe Fonts

Fonts are loaded through Adobe Fonts to provide a consistent presentation. For users outside North America and Japan, the provider is Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4–6 Riverwalk, City West Business Campus, Saggart, Dublin 24, Ireland. When a page is opened, your browser connects to Adobe servers. This transmits in particular the IP address, the hostname of this website and technical information about the web project and fonts served.

Adobe states that it does not set or use cookies to serve web fonts and does not store the IP address received for delivery. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a brand-consistent, reliable and performant typographic presentation.

Processing outside the EU or EEA cannot be ruled out. Depending on the circumstances, Adobe identifies European Commission adequacy decisions and Standard Contractual Clauses as transfer mechanisms; Adobe Inc. and the US subsidiaries listed by Adobe are also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 7. Language selection

The published IONOS version provides German and English content at separate URLs. Switching languages only opens the corresponding URL. Neither a country code nor your browser’s preferred language is used for automatic selection, and no language cookie is set.

8. YouTube videos activated on request

Where YouTube videos are offered in project cases, they are initially shown only as locally hosted previews. No connection to YouTube is made before you expressly select “Load video”. Only then is a player loaded from youtube-nocookie.com. The European provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Activation may transmit your IP address, device and browser information, the page visited and your player interactions to Google. If you are signed in to Google, Google may associate use with your account. Loading is based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where information is stored on or read from your device, Section 25(1) TDDDG.

Consent applies only to the video you activate. Selecting “Disable video” ends the connection for the future; it cannot recall data already transmitted to Google. Processing by Google entities outside the EU or EEA, particularly in the United States, cannot be ruled out. 9. Cookies, additional analytics and profiling

Apart from IONOS WebAnalytics as described in section 3, this website does not use any additional analytics, marketing or audience measurement services. The published IONOS version does not set first-party cookies. Non-essential third-party content is loaded only after your active consent. No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, takes place.

10. Recipients

Recipients of personal data may include IONOS as hosting and WebAnalytics provider, Adobe as webfont provider and — only after you actively enable a video — Google Ireland Limited and affiliated companies. In business communication, data may also be disclosed to carefully selected service providers, professional advisers or public authorities where required to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.

11. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect. You may also object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

12. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
